Tell us your budget. We will show you what it buys.
01 / Challenge
Inventory was tracked manually and pricing varied between consultations. Complex floral recipes and their costs were hard to manage, walk-in customers had no clear view of what fit their budget, and there was no structured way to apply interest fees or surcharges to high-demand products, so margin leaked quietly.
02 / Approach
The app was built mobile-first because the staff using it are walking around a shop with a customer, not sitting at a terminal. That decided the interface before anything else.
A budget calculator takes the customer's number and shows an immediate breakdown of what products and recipes fit inside it, so the conversation happens over a screen both people can see rather than over mental arithmetic. Roles are split: an admin controls inventory and interest fees and approves or rejects recipes; an employee views inventory, creates recipes and uses the calculator.
The recipe approval step was added deliberately. It is a small piece of process, and it is what stops pricing consistency from depending on who served the customer.
03 / Outcome
roles with separate permissions
Staff generate quotes on the spot from the calculator instead of doing the maths by hand, interest fees and surcharges apply automatically so the pricing leakage closed, and a customer sees exactly what their budget buys — which is what turns a walk-in conversation into a sale with fewer rounds.
