What you can expect,and what we ask.

These terms govern this website and everything published on it. Browsing the site, sending an enquiry, or quoting something you read here means you accept them.

They do not govern the work. Every engagement runs on a separate signed agreement — scope, fees, timelines, ownership, confidentiality — and where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.

You are welcome to read, quote and link to anything here. A short quote with a link back needs no permission from us. What we ask you not to do is narrower than it looks:

• Republish our writing, design or code as your own, or strip our name from it.
• Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or work around the measures that keep it up.
• Probe it, load-test it, or try to reach the parts of it that are not public.
• Use what is here to train a model you go on to sell, or to build a product against ours.
• Present yourself as WalQalum, or imply we endorse you when we have not said so.

If you want to do something these rule out, ask. The answer is often yes.

The text, design, photography, illustration and code on this site belong to WalQalum unless something on the page says otherwise. Client names and logos belong to those clients, and appear here with their permission.

None of that transfers to you by reading it. What you get is the licence any reader gets: to view these pages, and to quote them with attribution.

The outcomes in our work and our insights come from real engagements. They describe what happened for that client, under those constraints, on that data — not what will happen for you.

Some numbers are rounded, and some details are withheld or changed where a client asked. Where a figure matters to a decision you are making, ask us and we will tell you what sits behind it.

Products listed on this site are described here, not licensed here. Each carries its own terms and its own service levels, agreed when you subscribe, and nothing on these pages grants a right to use one.

What you read describes the product as it stands today. A feature named here is not a commitment to keep it, and one that is missing is not a commitment against building it.

Sending the contact form starts a conversation, and nothing more. In particular it does not:

• Create a contract, or oblige either of us to enter one.
• Put us under a duty of confidence — wait for an NDA before sending anything commercially sensitive.
• Reserve capacity, a start date, or a price.

A proposal we send holds for thirty days unless it says otherwise, and binds neither side until both have signed.

We keep this site up and its content current, but we do not guarantee either. Pages go down while we deploy, and what is accurate today may be stale by your next visit.

Nothing here is professional advice. What we publish about AI architecture, procurement and evaluation is written without knowing your situation, and acting on it is your decision. So far as the law allows, we are not liable for a loss arising from one — for advice we stand behind, engage us and we will put it in writing.

We link out to clients, to tools, and to other people's writing. Those sites are not ours: we do not control what they publish, or how they handle your data.

WalQalum operates from Sharjah Media City in the United Arab Emirates, with teams in Lahore and Dubbo. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction over any dispute about this website.

An engagement agreement names its own governing law, which may be a different one. That clause governs the work; this one governs the site.

We revise these terms as the site and the business change. The date in the margin is when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies — we do not notify readers individually, so a substantive change is worth a re-read.
